  On Easter Sunday our high-end drama-doc ‘Saving The Titanic’ coproduced with ‘Tile Films’, Dublin premieres on German TV (8 April, 11.45 p.m., ZDF). 100 years after the sinking of the Titanic, “Saving the Titanic“ is the untold story of the self-sacrifice and dignity of the ship’s crew in the face of impending death. Underscoring the superior quality of this drama-doc are the informative yet never overbearing technical details, the unparalleled CGIs and the high-end drama shot in Ireland and the UK that bring to life the last hours of the “unsinkable” Titanic.

  A tribute to revolutionary cinema: “Empire Me” wins the main prize ‘Best Film’ at the International Film Festival Aubagne in [...]

  A tribute to revolutionary cinema: “Empire Me” wins the main prize ‘Best Film’ at the International Film Festival Aubagne in France together with the feature film “Toomelah” by Ivan Sen. Since the Award couldn’t be splitted, the Film Festival created a special Award PRIX DU FILM REBELL for “Empire Me” with the argument, that the world needs in these times of crises more films with the courage to defy conventions with regard to content, politics and narration style.

  The Film Festival highlights the connection between image and music. Therefore the Award honours as well the German Score-composer ALEXANDER HACKE, renowned for his band EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN and his work with the director FATIH AKIN.

  Thanks to “Empire Me” the recently created Award PRIX DU FILM REBELL shall be maintained in the next year as an own category. We like to congratulate all participants!

  Our darling of the audience and festival hit “Autumn Gold” will be broadcast on arte: Sunday 18 March at 9.55pm. After running at more than 50 film festivals all over the world and gaining more then ten awards and nominations, we are happy to announce its first broadcast at the German TV.
